THOMAS SCHEYTT is considered one of the best contemporary boogie and
Blues pianists. He combines high pianistic skill with an incredible, deeply felt expressive variety.

For over 30 years, he has been a guest not only as a soloist but also with his trio “Boogie Connection” in jazz clubs and at festivals in Germany and abroad. In 2019, he and his trio already received the
fourth time an invitation to the world-famous New Orleans Jazz Festival in Ascona. The appreciation he has earned through his concert activities, his compositions and his CD recordings
is expressed in awards such as the “Audience Award 2000” from SWR (together with Ignaz Netzer) or the “Freiburg Music Prize 2003”.
He gained great recognition by winning two “German Blues Awards 2015” in the categories “Best Piano” and “Best Duo”.
