CODED ART: Art created by machines?
The Friends of Culture at Neuenbürg Castle Association is breaking entirely new ground with its latest exhibition. Behind the technically oriented title lies a highly dynamic art project that focuses on the boundary experiences between visitors and machines. Four internationally renowned media artists (Holger Förterer, Janno Bergmann, Patrick Tresset, and Francesco Mancori) program computers to independently generate artworks. New images emerge in real time based on the movements of visitors. The stunning compositions of light, color, and the constant movement of this digital spectacle hypnotically captivate viewers. Or, as in Tresset's work, they themselves become models, portrayed by robots. There's something for everyone here – children and adults alike!
