THE COLD HEART Comic Reading

Comic author and illustrator Sascha Hommer lives and works in Hamburg. However, he knows the Black Forest well, having been born here in 1979. He returns to this mystical place of his childhood.
He is now back for the reading. The fairy tale "The Cold Heart" by Wilhelm Hauff inspired him to create a special comic, the graphic novel, in 2024.
During the reading, he will also provide fascinating insights into the development of comics and graphic novels in Germany in recent years. He has been teaching at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences since 2016.
