The castle looks back on an eventful 800-year history!

The overall ensemble includes the multi-winged castle complex from the 16th century, the enclosed castle garden, the “Rear Castle” from the 14th century and the former castle chapel of St. George from the 13th century with original wall paintings.

An extraordinary interactive museum forms the heart of Neuenbürg Castle. Here, the famous fairy tale "The Cold Heart" by Wilhelm Hauff is performed, putting visitors right in the middle of the action!
