3. Cookies
We base the use of cookies on Article 6 (1) (f) of the EU GDPR: the processing is carried out to improve the functionality of our website. It is therefore necessary to protect our legitimate interests.
A cookie is a text file that is stored locally on the user's computer when a website is accessed. The cookie stores data about the user's behavior. When the browser is opened and a website is visited again, the stored data is used to forward information about the user's browsing behavior to the web server.
We use cookies in some areas of our website. These file elements allow your computer to be identified as a technical unit during your visit to this website, making it easier for you to use our services—even on repeat visits.
However, you generally have the option of setting your Internet browser so that you are informed about the appearance of cookies, so that you can allow or exclude them, or delete existing cookies.
Please use the help function of your Internet browser to obtain information on changing these settings. We would like to point out that individual functions of our website may not work if you have deactivated the use of cookies.
Cookies do not allow a server to read private information from your computer or information stored by another server. They do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses.
4. Use of social plugins from Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
The protection of your personal data is very important to us. Therefore, we do not directly implement the various social plugins.
We only provide links to these social networks on our website. The corresponding social plugins are only activated when you follow the links.
Please note that data will only be transmitted once you have activated the corresponding social plug-ins by clicking on the corresponding link. Simply visiting our website does not trigger any data transmission.
If you activate the data transfer by clicking on the corresponding link, the following data transfer will occur:
The. Facebook
Our website includes plug-ins from the social network Facebook (Facebook Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA). You can recognize the Facebook plug-in by the Facebook logo or "Like" button on our site. You can find an overview of Facebook plug-ins here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.
The plugin establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. Facebook thus receives the information that you have visited our page using your IP address. If you click the Facebook "Like" button while logged into your Facebook account, you can link the content of our platform to your Facebook account. This allows Facebook to associate your visit to our page with your account.
We would like to point out that as the site operator, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook. Further information can be found in Facebook's privacy policy at https://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php.
If you do not want Facebook to be able to associate your visit to our site with your Facebook account, please log out of your Facebook account or do not activate the social plugins.
b. Twitter
Our website incorporates features of the Twitter service. These features are offered by Twitter Inc., 1355 Market St, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA.
By using Twitter and the "Retweet" function, the pages you visit are linked to your Twitter account and made known to other users. Data is also transferred to Twitter.
We would like to point out that as the site operator, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Twitter. Further information can be found in Twitter's privacy policy at https://twitter.com/privacy.
Ihre Datenschutzeinstellungen bei Twitter können Sie in den Konto-Einstellungen unter https://twitter.com/account/settings . change
c. Instagram
Our site incorporates features of the Instagram service. These features are offered by Instagram LLC, 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA. Since 2012, Instagram LLC has been part of the Facebook Inc. group, 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA.
You can find an overview of the Instagram plugins here: https://blog.instagram.com/post/36222022872/introducing-instagram-badges.
When you interact with the plug-ins, for example, by clicking the "Instagram" button, a direct connection is established between your browser and the Instagram server via the plug-in. Instagram thus receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have an Instagram account or are not currently logged into Instagram. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted from your browser directly to the Instagram server in the USA and stored there. This allows Instagram to associate your visit to our page with your Instagram account.
We would like to point out that as the site operator, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Instagram. Further information can be found in Instagram's privacy policy at https://www.instagram.com/about/legal/privacy/.
If you do not want Instagram to be able to associate your visit to our site with your Instagram account, please log out of your Instagram account or do not activate the social plugins.
We base the use of the aforementioned social plugins on Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. By activating the corresponding link, you grant us your consent to data processing. In any case, data processing is permitted under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; by activating the corresponding link, data processing is carried out for advertising purposes and is therefore in our legitimate interest.
5. Use of YouTube social plugins
Our website also contains links to the social network YouTube. We also operate a social media page there.
If you click on a link to YouTube, you will be redirected to the respective external YouTube page. If you are also logged in as a YouTube member, the operator, YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, can associate your visit to our site with your respective user account. Please note that YouTube LLC is part of the Google LLC group, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
If you do not want YouTube to collect and store data about your visit to our website, you must log out of your YouTube account before clicking on the link.
For information on the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of your data by YouTube, please refer to the relevant privacy policy, which you can find here: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.
We base our use of YouTube on Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. By clicking on the link and simultaneously logging in to YouTube, you consent to data processing. In any case, data processing is permitted under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; by clicking on the link and simultaneously logging in to the respective social network, data processing is carried out for advertising purposes and is therefore in our legitimate interest.
6. Use of Google Maps
We use Google Maps on our website to show you how to get to our company and to make it easier for you to plan your journey.
We use services provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
When you visit our site, your browser loads the required information from the Google server in the US into your browser cache. This is necessary so that your browser can display a visually improved version of our texts or the map on our website.
This will transmit to the Google server which of our websites you have visited. Google will also store your IP address.
Further information on Google web fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq?hl=de-DE&csw=1.

General information on data protection at Google can be found at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
7. Use of “hCaptcha”
We use the anti-bot service hCaptcha (hereinafter "hCaptcha") on our website. This Service is provided by Intuition Machines, Inc., a US corporation incorporated in Delaware ("IMI"). hCaptcha is used to verify whether the data entered on our website (e.g. on a login page or contact form) was entered by a human or an automated program. For this purpose, hCaptcha analyzes the behavior of the visitor to the website or mobile app based on various characteristics. This analysis begins automatically as soon as the website or mobile app visitor enters any part of the website or app with hCaptcha enabled. For the analysis, hCaptcha evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, length of stay of the visitor on the website or app or mouse movements of the user). The data collected during the analysis are forwarded to IMI. The hCaptcha analysis in "invisible mode" can take place completely in the background. Website or app visitors are not alerted that such analysis is taking place if the user is not presented with a challenge. The data processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR: The operator of the website or the mobile app has a legitimate interest in protecting its website from abusive automated crawling and spam. IMI acts as a "data processor" acting on behalf of its clients for the purposes of the GDPR and as a "service provider" for the purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). For more information about hCaptcha and IMI's privacy policy and terms of use, see the following links: https://www.hcaptcha.com/privacy and https://www.hcaptcha.com/terms.
